President's Message

My dear friends,

Greeting for the New Year!

Since the 15th Triennial Congress of APOA, my role as President of APOA has presented me with many worthwhile challenges.  One of this was to solidify the structure of APOA so that we would be able to maintain our good practices and build on the membership numbers.

With that, I would like to urge our leaders in the various Orthopaedic fields to maximise their various networks in encouraging more of our orthopaedic surgeons to apply for the APOA membership. Membership application can be found on our website or contact the secretariat at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

As President of APOA, I urge all our APOA members to participate in the upcoming 16th Triennial Congress of the APOA which will be held from 4-7 November 2010 in Taipei. Please visit the website at www.apoa2010.com for more details.

I look forward to seeing all of you in Taipei this November.

Best wishes,

Prof Po-Quang CHEN
President - APOA
