President's Message

Dear Colleagues and Friend around Asia Pacific Region,

It is my great pleasure to inform that Thailand is conducting the 51st Annual Meeting of The APOA on October 2014. In 1985 we ever have organized the 8th Congress of Western Pacific Orthopaedic Association in Bangkok, and the name changed to become the Asia Pacific Orthopaedic Association, which expanded the territory of the association next ward from the countries and the western pacific basin to include so many countries in the Asia Pacific region, the most western territory is the Asian part of Republic of Turkey. It is almost 30 years apart that the congress will be happened in Thailand. Those who have attended the 1985 congress of the WPOA to my belief that still have a served memorable impression. The venue of the congress will be held in Pattaya, the Pattaya Exhibition and Convention Hall, situate on the sea side - gulf of Thailand. Pattaya is one of the world most fomous destination for our guests from abroad or even among the Thai. There are so many enjoyable places that the visitors will gain the beautiful garden, many world class golf course and tennis course, and so many other places you will have a great impression.

The organize committee have been working had for years to schedule the most current update of orthopaedic knowledge for our attendee, and to light the orthopaedic achievement of the Asia Pacific Orthopaedic Community and all around the world. There will be world renown orthopaedic surgeons in the Asia Pacific orthopaedic countries and elsewhere in the world, whom we have in invited.

I certainly believe that your participation in the 51st Biennial Congress of APOA you will acquaint new friends from scientific atmosphere and long lasting memory from social activity.

It is an privilege to invite you all please come to Pattaya, Thailand to attend this meeting and looking forward to welcome you all.
